Emily Gulden is a passionate performer from New Jersey, who has dedicated many years to honing her craft.

She is a diverse actor with a unique look and a wide range of abilities. She has a knack for Shakespeare, playing the ingenue, drama, and impeccable comedic timing. A reviewer once compared her portrayal of Laurie in Brighton Beach Memoirs to that of the great British comedians. 

 An honors graduate from Wagner College with a degree in theatre and two minors in political science and film/media studies. Outside of school Emily has trained at Starlight PAC, Steps, and BDC in ballet, tap and jazz. She takes vocal lessons regularly with Raquel Nobile and Michael Lee Brown in musical theatre and pop. She studies acting with Denise Simon. 

Her favorite credits include Toffee in Zombie Prom, directed by Phil Mckinley and Emmy in A Doll’s House Part Two. She is currently in rehearsals for Jesus Christ Superstar at The Ritz Theatre where she is playing The Tormenter, a new character who acts as the fates throughout the show and dances a lot. 

Stay tuned for the release of Scout, a short horror film directed by Jill Letteney, where she starred as the innocently psychotic Girl Scout, Mia. The film will be showing at the NJ Horror Con of 2024 and Northern Horror Fest where she was nominated for Best Actress.

In her free time Emily enjoys singing rock songs with her dad and spending summers on the Jersey Shore. Emily is a newly certified Open Water Scuba Diver. Most days you can catch her with her nose in a book. Her dream is to one day star in the screen adaptation of one of her favorite books.
